DUNKELD

This new-build site in rural Perthshire was a blank canvas. While building the house, the clients found that the soil was littered with rocks and were keen to put them to good use both on the house facade and in the garden.

There was enough stone for extensive dry stone walling around the property, which I designed in circular patterns to echo traditional sheep stells.

To complement both the architect designed house and rural setting, the garden features sculptural grass banks and colourful wildflowers
