This holiday cottage has been completely refurbished, blending traditional crafts with contemporary design.  The clients wanted a garden sympathetic to the same design approach taken with the building.

The curved garden wall and rear steps were built using stones found on site while a local sawmill provided larch cladding for the planters that frame a wheelchair ramp to the front door.

 

The garden sits on the historic boundary between three counties and has been planted with a number of flowers that have links to each area. A herb garden near the kitchen provides guests with fresh produce for cooking and cocktails.
